Whatever it is, the way you tell the story can make all the difference.

  • Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. One of the key elements to following through on short and long term goals is to first identify the scope and big picture vision of the event or conference. A few items I cover when we first begin to dream big about your event are:

    • Brand Identity

    • Target Audience

    • Key Stakeholders

    • Event Parameters and Resources

    • Financial Parameters

    • Goals of the Event for Both the Stakeholders and the Participant Experience

  • Build it.

No matter what the size and scope of an event it will never be successful without a strategic plan. My preference is to use some type of project management software to create both high level goals and tasks for each goal. Using a project manager like Asana (pictured above) helps to create daily task lists, GANTT diagrams and can even function as a way to delegate to team members.
